The Waterfront Partnership’s “It’s a Waterfront Life” winter campaign will debut Nov. 19 with a parade, the arrival of Santa and the debut of a Power Plant laser, lights and music show in the harbor. Throughout December, the organization will hold events and offer deals on parking and attractions.
The laser and light show will be held evenings throughout December, too. And its appearance for the winter season is the first step in having the GBC’s proposed bigger, ongoing water and light show at the Harbor, said Laurie Schwartz, executive director of the Waterfront Partnership.

During the Waterfront Partnership’s winter campaign, its light and lasers show will run nightly until Dec. 31, occurring at 6 p.m., 7 p.m., and 8 p.m. on Sundays through Thursdays and 6 p.m., 7 p.m., 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Baltimore-based Image Engineering is creating the light show.

Along with Santa’s arrival and a holiday lantern parade on Nov. 19, the Waterfront Partnership will host other events through Dec. 31 at the harbor and elsewhere.
The Waterfront Partnership will also offer discounted parking at The Gallery Garage downtown and in Harbor East, where some parking will be free at select garages and $3 parking will be available on Caroline, Fleet and Eden streets.
